Race recap from 8/1 at Action Park East Kart Speedway.

Our jr1 driver has parked it in victory lane again for the second week in a row!! Started p2 in the heat and took the lead early in turn one on the green flag then the rest of the race hit her marks everytime and drew up a good lead to finish off. She started on the pole for the feature and drove hard off the line with p2 hot on her tail for majority of the race but she kept her cool and continued to hit her marks and drove very hard all the way to the checkered flag for the win!!

Proud is an understatement with how much she has progressed from the beginning of the season with handling issues due to dad 🙄 and consistency from her with getting the drive in and through the corners. But with a little hard work and determination from our jr1 driver with some feed back from her and understanding of what the kart was doing out there she has caught that winning bug and is talking about parking it back in victory lane already!

Unfortunately we got rained out and was unable to do our features. Had a piece tonight the kart was handling great. Went from last to 4th in the heat and slight gear change for the feature and felt like we could of had a top contender kart will be back at Dodge City September 13th for a double feature.
