Balance issues as we age are often accepted as a normal part of the process, but to a certain extent this is inaccurate. Usually there isa cause and something you can do about it. My opinion is that the number one cause of balance problems is muscular weakness brought on by sarcopenia and in activity. But I am not a medical professional. There are other well known reason, hearing problems, vision problems, sleep issues and even dehydration, but when you've run down the list of usual suspects it may take medical help to find the culprit, and as mush as we may be loathe to involve the Doctors, it would be better to do it BEFORE a fall or accident.B
