Animal Village (Smith Rock State Park) has an abundance of fun, adventurous multi-pitch routes at every grade. Sky Ridge (5.8), pictured here, is one of our favorites. It offers a stunning view of the park below and a juggy hand traverse on the final pitch.

We’re making the most of the cool dry weather. This is on the last pitch of the classic route, “Voyage of the Cowdog”. The final arete is something to remember!

We’ve had a bit of a rough weekend of weather, but hopefully starting tomorrow things will improve! We hope to see you out here! May can be a great time to climb the multi-pitch classics, and there are more than a few. It’s also a great time to get dialed on Self Rescue to get your season off to a solid start.
