We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Coach Weller. He cared about his students and his athletes like they were his own children. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and our entire UL community.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of someone very special to the Union Local family, Mr. Bill Weller.
Mr. Weller dedicated more than 30 years of his life to Union Local Schools. Throughout those years, he touched countless lives as a teacher, coach, colleague, mentor, and friend. He served as a coach for Union Local baseball, softball, and football, and was a former Teachers’ Union President. He was also a proud Cleveland Browns fan. 🧡🏈
Mr. Weller had a gift for making people laugh. He always knew how to lighten the mood, bring a smile to someone’s face, and make even the toughest situations a little easier. As a teacher, he was incredibly supportive of his students and always wanted to see them succeed. He was a beloved high school Intervention Specialist and an important part of the Union Local family.
His impact on our students, staff, and school community cannot be measured. We are so blessed to have known him, learned from him, laughed with him, and had the privilege of working alongside him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Weller’s family, friends, former and current Union Local students, and all of his colleagues during this incredibly difficult time. 🤍
Rest peacefully, Mr. Weller. Thank you for more than 30 years of memories, laughter, and dedication to Union Local. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered. ❤️🤍
