Life Changing Service Dogs for Veterans Life Changing Service Dogs For Veterans is a 501C3 nonprofit organization. Our Mission: Too many veterans commit suicide.

At Life Changing Service Dogs For Veterans, we are driven by a single goal; provide medical service dogs to veterans who suffer from physical disabilities or cognitive challenges resulting from Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and/or Post-Traumatic Stress D The Veterans’ Administration estimates that 22 of our brave heroes commit suicide every day. Focusing on that number, our goal is to provide service dogs to 22 veterans. It takes two years to fully develop a service dog – including food, veterinary care, and over 1,500 hours of training. Those development programs cost approximately $25,000 per dog. Our goal is to reduce those 22 veteran suicides a day down to zero.
