What a weekend for our Hornets! ⚾️

With only eight players, these boys battled their way to the championship game and finished as tournament finalists! Every player stepped up, played wherever the team needed him, and gave everything he had. Even through exhaustion, their effort, positive attitudes, and support for one another never faded.

Not many teams can say they’ve competed in numerous tournaments and made it to the championship game more times than not. That says so much about the talent, dedication, and heart of this special group!

These boys played hard, had fun, and created memories together that will last a lifetime. They may have only had eight players, but they played with the heart of an entire army.

We couldn’t be prouder of our Hornets! 🏆🩵

Another tournament, another hard-fought battle, and once again the Hickory Hornets come up just short, finishing as Finalists.

While the trophy wasn't the one we were chasing, this team has absolutely nothing to hang their heads about. The dedication, countless hours of practice, sacrifices, early mornings, late nights, and unwavering commitment these players have shown all season have been incredible to watch.

What makes this team special isn't measured by wins and losses—it's the heart they play with. It's teammates picking each other up when things get tough. It's the drive to keep pushing when they're exhausted. It's the determination to compete until the final whistle. It's the brotherhood they've built along the way.

Championships are great, but character is built through adversity, and this group has shown more grit, resilience, and teamwork than anyone could ask for. They left everything they had on the field, and that's something to be proud of.

Keep your heads high, Hornets. The hard work, dedication, and relentless drive you've shown all season have not gone unnoticed. The future is bright, and this journey is far from over. 🩵 🖤 🐝
