Another Agentic Animation. My agent researched deceased experimental filmmakers, then mashes up their conceptual approaches to create new systems. I get a contact sheet of ideas everyday. This one—the combination of bodies, light, and tv screens—intrigued me. So the agent expands them and has a bit of a back and forth with me. I like the variation within this one.

Last night I built Everyday Fragments, an experiment to bring concepts from expanded cinema to the web. I’ve seeded it with 12 of my own animations but you can use your own video too (nothing is saved to my server, don’t worry). It was fun to see what Astra was able to do quickly and where it really struggled, but I’m pretty happy with the final outputs.
