The Baltimore Rhythm is excited to welcome Tresca Esguerra as our new Sales Manager!

As we prepare for our second season, we continue to strengthen the organization off the court with people who understand that building a successful professional basketball franchise takes more than what happens between the lines.

It takes relationships. Partnerships. Community. And a commitment to growth.

Tresca brings more than seven years of experience in sales, business development, relationship management, territory growth, and strategic partnerships — along with something especially valuable to the Rhythm: previous professional basketball experience.

Now, she brings that experience to Baltimore.

As Sales Manager, Tresca will help lead our efforts to grow corporate partnerships, advertising, group sales, and ticket revenue while building relationships throughout the Baltimore business community.

Our goal for Season 2 is ambitious:

Baltimore, welcome home John Crosby!

Winning has followed John Crosby everywhere the game has taken him.

🏆 High School Champion — A standout at Baltimore Poly under legendary Coach Sam Brand, Crosby helped establish himself as one of the city’s premier guards while learning what it takes to win.

🏆 College Champion — At the University of Dayton, he was part of an Atlantic 10 Championship program before returning closer to home and becoming an All-HBCU standout at Delaware State.

🏆 Professional Champion — Crosby took his game overseas, where he continued doing what he’s done throughout his career: WIN.

But John’s impact on Baltimore basketball goes well beyond what he’s accomplished on the court.

Today, he’s pouring that experience back into the next generation as a lead coach and trainer at The Sanctuary, helping young athletes learn the game the right way — developing their skills, basketball IQ, discipline and approach to the game.

And if anybody needed a reminder that he can still GO…

Crosby just finished a spectacular Brunson League season, leading the league in POINTS and ASSISTS while taking home LEAGUE MVP honors. 🏆🔥

Now he’s bringing the show to The Decker.

As we prepare for Season 2, we knew our next head coach needed to represent more than what happens between the lines. We wanted a leader who understands Baltimore basketball, culture, accountability, player development, and the importance of building something that lasts. We believe Coach Holley is the right leader for this next chapter.

Coach Holley brings experience, basketball knowledge, and a passion for developing players and building a winning culture. He also understands our larger mission: the Baltimore Rhythm isn’t simply trying to win games—we’re working to build an organization that Baltimore can call its own.

Our work for 2027 has already begun.

The Baltimore Rhythm is proud to officially welcome Lori Phelps as our new Chief Operating Officer!

As we continue building toward an even bigger Season 2, Lori brings a tremendous combination of leadership, organizational excellence, and a passion for developing people and community to the Rhythm.

An accomplished former attorney and award-winning school principal, Lori has spent her career leading organizations, developing teams, solving complex challenges, and creating environments where people can thrive. As COO, she will help turn our vision into execution—strengthening our internal operations, supporting our growing leadership team, and helping ensure that the Baltimore Rhythm continues building a professional, sustainable, community-centered organization.

We believe that winning off the court during the preseason is what creates the foundation for a winning organization when the season begins. That means putting the right leadership, people, processes, partnerships, and culture in place long before the ball is tipped.

There is a lot happening behind the scenes as we prepare for 2027, and adding the right leaders is every bit as important as adding the right players.

Lori is another major piece of that foundation.

As we reflect on the inaugural season of the Baltimore Rhythm, we want to take a moment to sincerely thank Coach Samir St. Clair for his leadership, professionalism, and commitment to our organization.

From day one, when Matty said, “we’ve got our guy!” Coach St. Clair represented the Rhythm with integrity and helped establish a culture rooted in accountability, respect, and professionalism. He invested in our players, challenged them to grow, and helped lay an important foundation for what the Baltimore Rhythm can become.

As our organization turns the page to a new chapter, our vision continues to sharpen. Our Year Two North Star is simple:

Pack The Decker.

Everything we do moving forward—from basketball operations to community engagement to the game-day experience—will be centered around building the most connected, entertaining, and community-driven basketball organization in Baltimore.

Coach St. Clair’s leadership played an important role in establishing one of the critical building blocks that will help us pursue that vision. We are grateful for his contributions during our inaugural season and appreciate the example he set for our players and staff.

🏀 Summer doesn’t mean we stop working… it means we keep building.

Today, some of the Baltimore Rhythm were out supporting teammate Zaid Hearst compete in Terry Hosley’s Free Smoke Tour 1v1 Circuit at Goucher College.

We love seeing guys giving back to the basketball community, competing, connecting with fans, and helping grow the game all year long. That’s what the Rhythm is all about.

The season may be over, but the work never stops. We’re staying active, staying connected, and continuing to represent Baltimore wherever the game takes us.
