We are a group of dedicated volunteers at the Austin Animal Center, helping those who need it most! We are all volunteers who met at the Austin Animal Center.

We quickly learned that we shared the same affinity for working with the "naughty" dogs who are labeled with an orange dot at AAC, hence the "Orange Dot Crew." Our philosophy is simple: although some dogs require more patience, time, and work, they are are as deserving of love and happiness as any other dog. Sweet Pea needs a home NOW!
Austin Animal Services 📍 Austin, Texas

Sweet Pea is a senior gal on our roster who is battling heart worms. A stressful shelter kennel is no place for her to be! To start her treatment she needs to be in a home where she can relax and get the care she needs.

Sweet Pea is cuddly and charming. She loves to ride in the car and snuggle up to you at home. She’s playful, loving, and house trained.

Sweet Pea requires being the only pet in the home. She would prefer a human buddy that works from home. A yard would be great but short walks are just fine with her too. She needs a foster or adopter that can commit to working on her separation anxiety as well as getting her through several months of heartworm treatment.

Training and treatment can be provided at no cost! And Sweet Pea comes with any and all support from our crew.

🚨 Help us keep Pop from returning to kennel!
📍 Austin, TX

Pop has been in foster and is set to return on 3/20. He does wonderfully in a home but really, really struggles in a kennel. He spins and jumps and can’t sleep and is constantly drooling from stress (see last slide).

In a home, Pop is:
✅ fully house trained
✅ non-destructive when left alone
✅ playful, sweet, social, snuggly
✅ medium energy
✅ can live with large and/or small dogs
✅ can live with cats
✅ knows sit and down
✅ walks well on leash
✅ rides well in the car
