Pitstop on the way home from Michigan… 🏁

Had to swing by Hyper Racing to pick up a few parts for Quinn’s new-to-us Jr. Sprint.

The next adventure is officially underway!

Kalamazoo Recap 🏁 NASCAR Youth Series

This weekend was a tough one for our little team.

With practice canceled, Quinn’s first laps at a fast, unfamiliar track came when it counted. The Zoo lived up to its reputation. He made some great moves that just never seemed to work out, took a couple of hard hits—including two flips—and heads home with plenty of bruises. Thankfully, he’s okay.

I don’t think we’ve ever seen Quinn race harder than he did this weekend. He never stopped digging, even when nothing seemed to go our way.

Our heat races put us in the Junior Animal B Main and Junior 160 C Main. A bent radius rod, an unnoticed flat tire in the Animal B, and another hard flip in the 160 B ended our weekend earlier than we hoped. Sometimes that’s just racing.

One of the bright spots was Quinn getting to work with Ellis Mendoza Motorsports. He really enjoyed learning from him, and we’re grateful for the time he invested in helping Quinn grow. We’re looking forward to continuing to build on that.

Thank you to the people who were in our corner. Your advice, encouragement, and willingness to jump in mean a lot to us. You know who you are, and we appreciate you more than you know. ❤️

Some weekends test you more than others. This was one of them. Now we turn our attention to what’s next. 👀

Meeting Carson Hocevar might’ve been just the reset Quinn needed after a hard flip off the wall in his Junior 160 Heat. ❤️🏁

Thankfully, Quinn was okay, Dad got the car back together, and Quinn made the transfer from the C Main to the B Main.

Tomorrow’s B Main lineup:
🏁 Junior Animal: P6
🏁 Junior 160: P10

One more shot in both classes. Let’s go! 💪

🧱 Battle at the Brickyard 2026 Recap 🧱

What a week at NASCAR Youth Series Indianapolis Motor Speedway! It was a long, hot week, and we’re happy to be heading home!

Junior Animal: Quinn started P1 in the C Main and finished P5, making him the X car for the B Main. We made it onto the track when another car pulled into the pits, but they were able to get back out before the race started, so we didn’t get the chance to race our way into the A.

Junior 160: Quinn started P1 in the D Main and finished P2, advancing to the C Main. Starting P8, he came up just short of transferring to the B Main.

Quinn left Indy saying he learned a lot this week. Now he needs to put those lessons to work.

Thank you to everyone who helped our team throughout the week. Whether you turned wrenches, offered advice, cheered from home, or checked in along the way, we appreciate every bit of support. Special thanks to Storm Chassis | BRE | FPE Racing | Aubree Warner and Team | Hazelwood Racing | Nolan Dalrymple Racing

And thank you to our incredible sponsors for making trips like this possible. We couldn’t do it without you.
