Motivation is a powerful tool.. when you have it. It can help start momentum. But it’s WILDLY unreliable in the long run.

All of the women you see with “body goals” who are successful in their fitness relied on motivation probably 5% of the time.

What it comes down to is the people who succeed long-term usually rely more on systems, habit stacking, priming their environment, and being flexible in their plan.

So for those struggling with “motivation”, remove that as the primary driver for your goals. Replace it with wanting more for yourself or some other intrinsic value.

You deserve more than just motivation. 🫶🏻

Remember, what’s trending right now might be “skinny”. But what will be trending in 30 years is osteoporosis. :)

If you wanna be a strong, lean legend... keep doin what you’re doin. Lift the weights, eat your protein, and don’t worry about what the rest of the world is doing right now. Trust me, you’re hot. 🥵

I think as personal trainers and coaches, we can lose the plot and lose people when we overcomplicate fitness or only show our clients “perfection”..

My clients know I’m anything but perfect lol.
And while I’ve gone through seasons where fitness was my whole life due to competing or “locking in” for a specific goal, it’s helpful to show them both sides of the coin on this whole journey.

It’s about meeting them where they are to help them achieve their goals in the most sustainable way. 🫡
