Hi, I’m Avery Wuestefeld! ❤️🤍💙

Cheerleading has been a huge part of my life, first as an athlete and now as a coach. I had the opportunity to cheer collegiately at Trevecca Nazarene University and Thomas More University, competing at UCA College Nationals and placing 5th at World College Nationals.

My coaching experience includes All-Star and high school cheerleading, and I currently coach at the collegiate level at Thomas More University. I also serve as a Varsity Spirit judge.

As a coach, I love helping athletes push themselves, grow their skills, and gain confidence both on and off the mat. My goal is to develop athletes who are not only strong cheerleaders, but also great teammates and leaders. I’m so excited for another season with SD Cheer! 📣❤️🤍💙

Hi, I’m Mary Ann Tighe!
For the past 30 years, I’ve had the absolute joy and privilege of coaching athletes in gymnastics, tumbling, cheerleading, and All-Star cheer.
Over the decades, I’ve seen the sport evolve, but my core mission has always remained the same: to create a positive, high-energy environment where athletes can safely push their limits, build solid technical fundamentals, and discover what they’re truly capable of achieving.
Whether working on a first cartwheel or perfecting a elite-level All-Star routine, I love helping athletes build the confidence, discipline, and passion that stays with them long after they step off the mat."
