Week 4 of ACS Summer Squash Camp is in the books!

We wrapped up another fantastic week with a hardworking group of players who brought great energy, focus, and enthusiasm to the courts every day.

A special thank you to our guest coach, Wade, a passionate member of the ACS community who is always willing to step on court, share his knowledge, and inspire our players. We truly appreciate your time and support!

Atlanta Community Squash is excited to host the 24th Annual Dragon Doc Open! 🐉

Taking place August 28th–30th, the Dragon Doc Tournament is one of the highlights of the Atlanta squash calendar, offering a fantastic blend of competitive matches, great camaraderie, and plenty of social activities off the court, including the Saturday evening food truck and music!
Whether you’re a regular tournament player or entering your first event, there is a division for everyone. We hope you’ll join us for a fantastic weekend of squash and community.

SOFTBALL SINGLES
Women’s 2.5 & 3.0.
Men’s 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, Open and, 50+, 60+, 70+ age divisions.

HARDBALL DOUBLES
C, B, Open and Century Draws.

Early Bird Entry: $125 (through June 18, 2026)
Regular Entry: $150
Registration Deadline: August 12, 2026
Entry fees include a tournament gift, as well as food and drinks throughout the weekend.
Players can play in a maximum of two draws. If you’re interested in a second draw, you’ll receive 50% off the entry fee for your second event.

The Dragon Doc Tournament serves as a fundraiser for A+ Squash, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young students through academics and the sport of squash. If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, please email me directly.

This year we are delighted to have the ‘Colombian Cannonball,’ Miguel Angel Rodriguez participate in the tournament as our featured pro. Miguel is the current World #23, former #4, and British Open Champion. He is also the Atlanta Tornados’ #1 player. Known for his flamboyant style and entertaining brand of squash we can’t wait to see him on the singles and doubles courts during the tournament.

Week 3 of Summer Squash camp, we welcome our youngest players to ACS Summer Camp, and we couldn’t be more excited to get them started on their squash journey. Some are already part of our Junior Academy, while others are stepping onto the court for the very first time. In the afternoons, we’re joined by the A+ players, bringing even more energy and enthusiasm to the week. It’s shaping up to be a fun and exciting week of learning, hard work, and plenty of squash!

Looking for a fun way to stay active this summer? Join our Women’s Clinic every Friday from 12:00–1:00 PM!

Racquet sports are one of the best ways to improve fitness, coordination, balance, and overall well-being while enjoying a great social atmosphere. Whether you’re new to the game or an experienced player, come learn, play, and connect with other women in our squash sessions.

All levels welcome!

Congratulations to all the juniors who competed so hard yesterday in the U11, U13, and U15 ACS Junior Club Championships.

It was a fantastic way to wrap up the spring season, and it’s been awesome to see the amount of progress our juniors have made over the past 9 months.

Well done to everyone for their effort, sportsmanship, and fighting spirit throughout the event.

Alex defeated Henry Mitchell in a hard-fought four-game battle to take the title.
