🌟 The Georgia Quarter Horse Association’s Summer Finale Show on September 4–6 and Georgia Classic Show on November 14–15 in Conyers, GA, are Qualifying Events for the 2027 Shamrock Ranch Series Championship Show!

Launching its inaugural championship year in 2027, the Shamrock Ranch Horse Series is committed to growing the ranch horse industry at the grassroots level and creating opportunities for novice and new exhibitors to feel welcome—and feel like they have a chance. ❤️

The qualifying period runs August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027, with qualifying events throughout the Southeast.

The mission is simple: provide an affordable annual championship for qualified exhibitors competing in All Breed ranch horse classes while creating a premier championship experience right here in Georgia.

The Southern Regional 4-H Horse Show Horse Judging Contest will be held July 30th at the fairgrounds in Perry. They're looking for volunteers to bring horses for the following:

Performance halter
Trail
Horsemanship
Equitation
Reining
Ranch Riding
Ranch Rail
Pleasure
Hunter Under Saddle

Riders would have access to Reeves Arena prior to the contest starting at 9:00 am.

Join AQHA Professional Horseman Dawn Lovern on Friday at 3:00 PM for a free horsemanship clinic. It's a great opportunity to learn, improve your skills, and get ready for the weekend.

These are our "Keep It Simple" shows, so come comfortable! A basic button-up shirt, work saddle, and practical show attire are welcome—no chaps required. (Legal working equipment is required.)
