Through Atlanta Phoenix community activism each player is an ambassador of women's wellness; an advocate promoting resources and practices to develop self esteem, inner strength, and a positive attitude in spite of obstacles and setbacks life may have dealt. There may be better ways to do so but, sports has always been one of the best vehicles to use. Showing the world women can tackle, be tackled and get up to do it all over again takes an enormous amount of motivation, confidence and conditioning. The team's non-profit organization, Phoenix Rising Awareness Foundation, will coordinate workshops, seminars, and exhibitions to showcase and encourage strength on the field and in life through total wellness awareness.
