My inbox is FULL of women telling me how my lastest podcast on ambition has reminded them of who they are and what they believe. It's so easy to "follow" the next big idea, especially if it speaks to the ambition within us. As Christians though, we already have the blueprint. We have the answers. We have access to the most powerful room. We get that revelation through the renewing of our minds. Be inspired but then go back and be RENEWED and transformed by what God has already told you. Found me a HOBBY!! I'm learning tennis is a mixture of being relaxed and focused. If I can master this, watch out world!

Going to Aunt Beverly's house as a kid was always special. The grown folks would hold court in the kitchen while the kids piled up in the living room with the ancestors watching from the walls. Upstairs was forbidden. I think I snuck up there once and freaked OUT. Many generations of Rheas passed through those hallways and you could feel it. You could find her at the kitchen table with books all around her and her huge dogs somewhere nearby. I have a clear memory of her at one of our gatherings, kicking off her shoes and dancing to Eric Clapton. That's how I'll remember her. She was a cool woman, always made me feel special. "Hi Tisha!" She'd say.
The last time I saw her was in this picture. It had been a long time. I had to jog her memory a bit. I finally told her I'm Kelly's daughter. Her eyes glazed over and she pulled me close.
Thank you for all the love and memories Aunt Beverly. I'll keep them with me forever ❤️

Keep God the main character of your life. It's so easy to center yourself. Your kids. Your ambition. That order actual feels quite natural. But in order to step into our true purpose and experience a life our minds can't even imagine, we must make him the passion of our hearts.
“Then God said, ‘Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.’” Genesis 1:26

Spring Break, 2026.
We are here to make the world better. To take what God has given us and cultivate it into greatness. But I think the DOING part of our purpose has overshadowed all the other aspects of our purpose like loving God and our neighbor.
Now that artificial intelligence will be better at DOING so many things we have mastered, if we don't find our way back to what's most important, we will feel a a bit displaced. Who are we if we aren't the fastest, most productive creatures in the world? We still have time to answer this question and now's the time to reflect and share. What does our purpose become if it isn't work?
As artificial intelligence scales to new heights we must elevate the sacredness of human dignity. AI is starting to outpace us in many ways, and that will only continue to be more true as time passes.
It will never, though, be able to duplicate our essence because we hold the image of God. We are His representatives on earth. This fact is untouchable.
I know this may feel a little lofty but I believe conversations about people's purpose and place in the word should be elevated right alongside the research, ethics and technological conversations being had about AI. People of faith must help shape and contribute to the overall advancement of AI, so here I am. Use me.
