Georgia BASS Nation High School Fishing

Our conservation program is at it again. We competed for and won 2 grants this year for improvements to our weigh in and fish care systems with the purchase of 2 PiranhO₂ Cuda oxygen generators. Thanks to AFTCO Freshwater and Bass Fishing Hall of Fame for making these grants available and being great partners in bass conservation.

The 2026 Strike King Bassmaster High School National Championship is a wrap. Congratulations to the Central Fishing Team Hunter Dickinson and Case Payton for finishing 13 and Greenbrier's Thomas Wilson and Adam Jaugstetter for finishing 14. Quite an accomplishment against the best high school anglers in the country. Proud of all of our anglers. Congratulations to Alabama BASS Nation High School for taking home the Natty.

And now it's time to let the big dogs out to play. The Strike King Bassmaster High School National Championship on Kentucky Lake starts Thursday. Practice is currently underway. Please join us in wishing our Georgia BASS Nation High School qualifying teams the best of luck. For most of them, this is their last High School event. Soak it up guys. We have certainly enjoyed watching you. Thank you boat captains for your investment in these young men.

Congratulations to our 3 junior teams that competed at Nationals. What a great season you had. Not the championship you all wanted but lots of great lessons learned and memories made. Can't wait to see what the future holds for you.

Our Junior anglers have some work to do after day 1 of the Bassmaster Tackle Warehouse Junior National Championship but we have all the confidence in the world in them. Everybody point North and send some big fish catching luck to them. Go get after them tomorrow. Most of all. HAVE FUN.
