Georgia Impact 2026 DeMeester/Hernandez

That's a wrap for our 25/26 season, and the retirement of our team. At the beginning of the season, we combined with EC Bullets Davis/Hernandez and added three awesome new players. We challenged the girls to compete, have fun, and play free. They clicked, had fun, got tons of reps in, made life long friends and memories. Our record was 31-17-5 with a couple of championships. All our 26's have graduated and are about to head off to play JUCO to D1 collegiate softball. Best of luck to them and Lex and Taylor who will continue their high school and travel ball careers.

That’s a wrap on our final practice in preparation for our final event this week at the Triple Crown Southeast Nationals. Missing Khamya and Mollie, had a good productive intersquad scrimmage with lots of quality reps.

11-2-1 the past two weekends with two championship bracket wins. This weekend the Owl City Showcase 18u Power Pool. Too many individual and team accomplishments to name. All pitchers had great outings, catchers were phenomenal, defense was on point and offensively we did what we needed to do to win games. Several bombs on the weekend from Alyssa Russell, Emma Hernandez, Erin Vineyard, Lizzie Lockhart, Sam Coe and Sofia Bailey. For our graduated seniors, this was their last event up in Dalton GA where they have probably spent 3/4 of their softball career competing. One more event before our team retires!

The happiest of 18th birthdays goes out to our #2 Marlie Day. An absolute work horse on the mound, Marlie had arguable a top 3 outing yesterday against a really good Fury Platinum team to help get us in the Championship game. A quite assassin both defensively and offensively. Happy birthday Marlie, we hope your day is just as special as you are!

Another great time at the USA softball Diamond Classic summer showcase where we went 7-0 on the weekend winning our bracket championship for the second time in three years. Full team effort with everyone contributing. Pitching and defense was on point only allowing six runs all weekend. Timely hitting and unselfish at bats propelled our offense to include several bombs by Erin Vineyard, Maddie Carey, Sam Coe and Emma Hernandez. The best part was the team bonding, team dinners and taking in Greenville together. Two more events left, let’s finish strong!

Looking forward to our last travel travel tournament this weekend up in Spartanburg South Carolina. We always enjoy our time at this event and sprinkle in some team bonding dinner events.
