Surf's Up ISR

Watson is wrapping up his second year of lessons with us! Last year he learned how to roll back and float at the age of 14 months. Now he is 2 years old and he has learned how to swim float swim!🐠

We love watching our students grow over the years! 🥹

Drowning is the #1 cause of death for children ages 1–4. Drowning deaths for this age group increased by 28% in recent years. It happens fast, it happens silently. Adding layers of protection such as ISR swim lessons, constant supervision IN and AROUND the water, pool barriers, and water safety education is very important. 🤍🌊

One step too far can happen in seconds.

May is Water Safety & Drowning Prevention Month!

Here are just a few layers of protection to keep your family safe in and around the water!

• Constant supervision around the water

• Sign your child up for certified ISR swim lessons

• Install a pool fence / gate

• Avoid relying on floaties or puddle jumpers for safety * THIS BUILDS FALSE CONFIDENCE *

• Learn CPR, it can save a life in an emergency

• Empty buckets, kiddie pools, and containers after use

• Keep pool areas free of toys that may attract children

• Use properly fitted life jackets when around open water
