What a way to honor Metallic Cat on Father's Day!

Last night at the 2026 National Cutting Horse Association Convention, three of his extraordinary offspring were inducted into the NCHA Horse Hall of Fame—Summer Time Fun, Preachersdrinknagain, and Check Yer Metal. What an incredible tribute to one of the greatest sires in the history of the cutting horse industry.

To cap off an unforgettable evening, Metallic Cat was named the 2026 NCHA Leading Sire of the Year, marking an incredible 12th consecutive Leading Sire title.

From producing Hall of Fame horses to setting the standard for generations of champions, Metallic Cat's impact on the sport continues to be unmatched. Congratulations to everyone who has been a part of his extraordinary legacy.
