So flew to Huntington, IN to get Master Cylinder in the AD with Job -- who would have thought 12, count 'em, 12 proprietary tools to replace the seals and gaskets. So, I got a car, drove home and UPS'ed it to Paul.
Who was great and turned it quickly because of AOG at an outstation, so to speak. Below is his test equipment: 1200 psi for 30 minutes. We have brakes.
Drove down to get it because I don't trust UPS, don't even ask about FedEx. And the next day back to HHG to put it in. It was going to be quick and easy or cantankerous; it was the latter.
Finally buttoned up at 1430, with thunderstorms from Huntsville, AL to Youngstown, OH. But beautiful in Indiana, so I'll leave tomorrow.
And woke up to rain...
Finally made it as far as M54, and then sat it out for more IFR and/or thunderstorms.
Finally today, I made it home.
Thanks Paul and Tim for putting me up. And Bruce and Music City Wing for an unannouced vistor.
