I don’t think people really understand what you carry when you’re the chosen one🥹😮‍💨

The pressure.
The isolation.
The stretching.
The pruning.
The battles nobody sees.

Everybody wants the promise, but nobody talks about what it costs to become the woman God trusted with it.

And some days…whew.
I’m tired too.

But I keep going because I know this isn’t just about me.
There are generations attached to my obedience.

So yes, I’m carrying a lot.

But I’m also becoming a woman I once prayed to meet. 🥹

And baby, she’s worth the weight.

Maalik did his THING! 👏🏾💪🏾I’m such a proud mom!

Now, I was for sure getting on his nerves because I was way too excited 😂😂 But baby, I couldn’t help it! Watching my son step into something I’ve been challenging myself to do was a MOMENT for me.

He showed up. He pushed through. And he finished his first 5K!

I’m proud of you, lil homie. 💚

And I hope you always remember that you don’t have to be perfect to start, you just have to be willing to show up and do the work.
