Efficiency won't save you from invisibility.

We’ve been sold a corporate lie; that if we just time-block perfectly, work a little smarter, and optimize our day, the right people will finally notice our impact.

But for the high-achieving corporate woman, hyper-efficiency usually just gets rewarded with one thing: more work.

You don’t have a time management problem. You have a positioning gap.

When you spend all your energy over-functioning inside the system, you leave zero space to strategically advocate for your advancement. It’s time to stop performing for approval and start positioning for leadership.

Swipe through to see the exact changes required to turn invisible labor into visible impact.

Ready to stop shrinking and start elevating your career? Let’s identify the exact blind spots keeping you hidden in plain sight.

It's almost time! ☕📝

Wine, Dine & Blind Spots is Friday, July 3, 2026 at 8 PM EST.

I’ve spent the last few days sketching out the core friction points we are going to unpack at Wine, Dine & Blind Spots.

When I look back at my 15 years in corporate leadership and HR strategy, the same patterns keep showing up on my scratchpad. Brilliant, deeply competent women who are handling the heaviest operational lifts, yet remaining completely under-positioned inside their organizations.

They are operating on the old corporate playbook: over-functioning, under-advocating, and waiting for their hard work to speak for itself.

At the dinner table, we'll be doing the real, unvarnished work to identify the exact visibility gaps costing you advancement.

The behind-the-scenes prep is officially running, the seats are filling up, and the breakthroughs are already mapped out.

If you are ready to stop shrinking in rooms you’ve already earned a seat in, it’s time to claim your spot at the table.

Over-functioning is not a visibility strategy.

When we think about building a standout corporate career, we’re often told to focus on growth. We assume that if we just keep making small, quiet improvements to our work, someone will eventually notice.

But for the high-achieving corporate woman, quiet momentum usually just leads to burnout.

Your career doesn't compound just because you're doing more. It compounds when you intentionally change how your work is positioned.

Advancement doesn't require a radical personality makeover or shouting to fill space. It requires small, daily shifts from invisible labor into visible leadership.

Stop quietly building momentum in the background.

Start compounding your actual positioning currency.

Swipe through to see how the compound effect actually works when applied to your visibility.

Which small shift are you making in your career narrative this week? Let me know in the comments.

Being good at your job is not the same as being known for it.

If there’s one corporate myth I wish we could collectively unlearn, it’s this: "Work hard, keep your head down, and your results will speak for themselves."

It doesn’t. Your work does not have a voice.

When you rely entirely on your performance to handle your positioning, you don't become the next candidate for promotion, you just become the indispensable person who solves everyone else's problems.

Management doesn't automatically connect your late nights to organizational impact unless you build the narrative for them.

If you are the go-to person who is constantly over-functioning but consistently overlooked when it’s time to advance, it’s time to change the currency you’re operating with.

Stop mastering performance at the expense of positioning.

Stop waiting to be discovered.

Start translating your invisible labor into visible leadership.

Your excellence deserves a strategy.

Are you letting your work 'speak for itself,' or are you actively shaping your narrative?

Loud does not mean confident.

Often, noise is just a defense mechanism. When you feel the need to fill every silence, you lose the capacity to listen, process, and reflect; the very traits that make you an effective leader.

The reality is more nuanced: Being 'quiet' isn't the solution either. Staying silent, letting your credit get absorbed, or capitulating to the loudest voice in the room is not the answer. That's not humility; it is invisible labor.

You don't need to be loud to command a room. You need to be intentional. You need a positioning strategy that allows your impact to be heard without you needing to shout.

Find your frequency. But make sure it’s yours.

So many brilliant corporate women tell me, "Tamica, I know I can do the job, but I hate talking about myself in interviews."

That drop in confidence isn't a lack of ability. It’s because you were taught to master performance, not positioning. Interviewing at the next level isn't an interrogation; it’s a business consultation.

Notice what changed for this client once we shifted her approach: she said it gave her the confidence to tackle any interview AND other complex conversations. That confidence comes from knowing exactly how to articulate your impact without shrinking or self-abandonment.

If you don't narrate your impact, the organization will assume it happened by accident.

Silence is expensive, and waiting for leadership to 'notice' is not a plan. It’s a gamble. Articulating your value isn't bragging, it’s operational strategy.

Swipe through for the formula to turn your daily ex*****on into recognized leadership currency. ➡️

If you struggle to articulate your value without feeling like you're bragging, we should talk.

When you are the only one who did the work, staying silent isn’t humility; it’s an invitation to be overlooked.

A lot of high-performing corporate women struggle with internal visibility. We are conditioned to think that our ex*****on should speak for itself. We worry that articulating our value is synonymous with bragging.

But here is the reality of corporate systems: If you do not control your own narrative, someone else will write a lesser version of it for you.

When you fully understand the commercial and operational impact of what you are doing (how your work directly protects revenue, optimizes a team, or scales an operation), advocating for yourself stops feeling like bragging. It becomes a statement of fact.

Internal visibility isn't being the loudest person in the room. It’s about building a solid positioning strategy that ensures your business value is seen, recognized, and advanced.

Stop letting your impact go unnamed. Learn to own the room and control your story.
