Cherish your spouse while you have the opportunity to love them well. Marriage can become so consumed with responsibilities, bills, children, work, and everyday routines that we forget the gift standing right beside us. Cherishing your spouse means making them feel valued, appreciated, desired, and important, not only with your words, but through your attention, affection, patience, and intentionality. Don’t allow familiarity to make you careless with something you once prayed for. Make time for each other, speak life over one another, laugh together, hold hands, create memories, and remind your spouse that after all these years, you would still choose them. A cherished marriage is a marriage where love isn’t just assumed, it’s consistently expressed.
Your wife looks up to you. Your leadership is very attractive to her.
Stop and do this simple thing to manage conflict
Declare over your marriage, this is my season for perpetual peace, rest, love, and wholeness.

Happy Friday, M4R Family!
One thing we’ve learned about marriage is that connection doesn’t always require something big, it just requires intention. Sometimes it’s grabbing a cup of coffee, taking a walk, laughing about absolutely nothing, getting out of the house, or simply slowing down long enough to enjoy the person you CHOSE to do life with. Do not allow your marriage to get boring.
Don’t allow responsibilities, bills, work, kids, and everyday routines to cause you to forget how to ENJOY each other. Friendship still matters in marriage. Laughter still matters. Dating still matters. Creating memories still matters. Sometimes your marriage doesn’t need another serious conversation, it needs a little more FUN, FRIENDSHIP, and FACE TIME.
This weekend, do something that creates connection. Put the phones down for a while. Get close. Talk. Laugh. Go somewhere. Try something different. Keep choosing each other, and never stop enjoying the gift of doing life together.
Happy Friday, y’all. Now go make a memory with your spouse.
Your spouse isn’t your roommate. Keep it married and spicy.
