If anxiety is always trying you, these were the conversations that you needed to hear.
My heart is still full and I feel incredibly blessed and honored to have been part of such a powerful community event, “Surviving Through Mental Health.” Serving as a panelist for the “Life Be Lifing” discussion was both humbling and inspiring.
What made this event so special wasn’t just the information that was shared—it was the authenticity. The conversations were honest. The panelists were transparent. The stories were courageous. And the discussions were exactly what our community needs.
Mental health conversations have the power to heal, reduce stigma, and remind us that none of us has to carry life’s burdens alone. Creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and understood is how we begin to change lives.
A special salute to Danica Royster for her vision, passion, and courage in bringing this incredible event to life. Thank you for creating a safe space where truth could be spoken, healing could begin, and hope could flourish.
I’m grateful to have shared in this experience, and I look forward to continuing the work of empowering minds, restoring hope, and reminding others that even when “life be lifing,”healing is possible. 💚

Watching young adults step into adulthood can feel like standing at a crossroads.
It’s when young adults begin stepping into independence, and parents begin learning how to step back without stepping away.
I’m excited to co-facilitate a free 60 minute workshop with an early career expert focused on helping young adults launch with confidence and supporting parents as they navigate this important season of transition. We will have separate breakout sessions for the young adults & parents.
See the attached flyer and tap the QR Code for registration details Feel free to share with anyone who may benefit. Thanks

Late post: I had the absolute pleasure of representing A New Cycle Counseling Services at the “Black Family Wellness Expo,” sponsored by the Portsmouth chapter of The Links. Hands down, I can say that this was one of the best vendor opportunities we’ve participated in! There’s nothing like engaging with the community and talking about what I love, wellness! 🦋
