📣 You don’t need another certification to raise your rate.
Too many brilliant therapists delay raising their fee until they feel more “official.”

But your value isn’t in your letters.

It’s in the way your clients feel seen, the relief they get from a single session, and the safety they trust you to hold.
Clients aren’t scanning your resumé before they book.

They’re asking:
“Do I feel safe with this person?”
“Can they help me get unstuck?”
Raise your rate based on the results you already create, not a credential you haven’t earned yet.

💬 Ready to align your fee with your value?
Start with a Foundations Sprint—it’s like therapy for your business model.

If your website copy sounds like every other therapist’s, it won’t stick.
Clients don’t book when they don’t see themselves in your words.
Here’s the difference:
Generic copy: “I provide a safe space for individuals, couples, and families.”
Client-centered copy: “I help high-capacity women of color break free from people-pleasing, reclaim their boundaries, and feel at home in their own lives.”
See the shift? The second example makes your ideal client feel seen — and more likely to reach out.
This is Part 2 in our series, Why Clients Don’t Book. Stay tuned for the next one.

If your bio sounds like a licensing exam answer, your clients will scroll right past it.
Your Psychology Today listing isn’t just a directory—it’s someone’s first impression of who you are and how you can help.
Use their words.
Describe their stuckness.
Speak to their nervous system—not your résumé.
