2ND ANNUAL THOMAS WEEKS MEMORIAL CLASSIC

On Saturday, August 29th, the JFK Customs Hockey Club will once again take the ice against the United States Marshals in the 2nd Annual Thomas Weeks Memorial Classic at MedStar Capitals IcePlex in Washington, D.C.

This game is far more than hockey.

It is an opportunity to honor the life, sacrifice, and legacy of Deputy U.S. Marshal Thomas Weeks, who tragically lost his life in April 2024 while courageously serving his country during the ex*****on of a federal warrant.

Before becoming a Deputy U.S. Marshal, Tommy proudly served as a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer, making this game especially meaningful to everyone who had the privilege of wearing the same badge. His unwavering commitment to public service, his courage, and the impact he made on those around him continue to inspire us.

This annual event brings together the law enforcement community to celebrate Tommy’s legacy while raising funds for the U.S. Marshals Survivors Benefit Fund, helping support the family he left behind and the families of fallen Deputy U.S. Marshals.

Join us as two proud agencies come together in remembrance, fellowship, and competition—playing for something much bigger than the final score.

Congrats USMS Hockey!

USMS takes home the cup from the DC Firefighters Burn Foundation hockey tournament in Laurel MD.

The team went 3 and 0 in tournament play scoring an impressive 27 goals advancing to the championship against PGFD where the team was victorious.

Thank you to DC Fire Hockey and all the volunteers for hosting another great tournament.

Brothers and Sisters,

We are reaching out to ask for support for one of our own, Derick Bynoe.

While visiting family in Barbados, Derick was the victim of a violent assault and is currently hospitalized in critical condition. His family is by his side during this incredibly difficult time.

Medical emergencies are challenging under any circumstances, but situations that occur abroad present even greater obstacles. Once Derick is stabilized, his family hopes to arrange a medical flight back to the United States so he can receive the highest level of care possible.

We are asking our colleagues, friends, and extended community to come together and support Derick, his 4-year-old son Mason, and his family during this difficult time.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward medical expenses and the costs associated with bringing Derick home, giving him the best possible chance at a full recovery.

If you are unable to contribute financially, we kindly ask that you keep Derick in your thoughts and prayers and share this message with others who may be able to help.
