Fg is your coarsest grade, built for cannons and large bore rifles. FFg suits big caliber muzzleloaders and rifles. FFFg is standard for smaller pistols and calibers under .45. FFFFg is priming powder only, never a main charge. Know your grain before you load, it matters more than you think.
