⚾🥎 What a bittersweet night! 🥎⚾

Tonight was our final FINAL night of baseball, softball and T-ball for the 2026 season… and what a way to go out! ❤️

We packed a whole lot into one evening, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to close out the season.

🔥 FILL THE BOOT — $1,500!
Tonight, we gathered the funds from our Fill the Boot campaign for the Fox Crossing Fire Association, raising an incredible $1,500 to give back to the firefighters who do so much for our community. 🚒❤️

📻 And then came another BIG surprise!
We were so excited to have Huggie, Mara and Haze from WIXX join us at our softball game this evening. They presented us with a check for $1,011 toward the campaign we are kicking off to help raise funds to relocate our fields that were damaged at Palisades Park. 🥎❤️

And because no final night would be complete without some fun… we had Jacobsens Juicery on hand serving up lemonade, and we were invited to enjoy US Venture’s incredible drone show! ✨🚁 What a cool way to end the night!

As we wrap up this season, there are definitely some bittersweet feelings. We’re sad to see the fields quiet down, but we are also incredibly grateful for everything the 2026 season brought us.

A HUGE thank-you goes out to our amazing Appleton Little League board members — those who were able to join us tonight and, just as importantly, those who work feverishly behind the scenes all offseason to make sure our fields are ready, our kids have a place to play, registrations and assessments are handled, programs are organized, and everything in between.

Without our board, none of this would be possible. ❤️

And to every player, coach, volunteer, family, sponsor and community member who was part of our 2026 season — THANK YOU. You are what makes this league so special.

We may be saying goodbye to the 2026 season tonight, but we’ll be back before we know it…

Today was a very special day as our own League President, Kevin Kostelecky, was recognized during the pregame festivities at today’s Milwaukee Brewers game!

Kevin was honored alongside volunteers from other Little League organizations for their years of dedication and service to Little League baseball and girls softball.

For more than a decade, Kevin has devoted countless hours to making Appleton Little League the best experience possible for our players and families. His leadership, dedication, and willingness to give his time to this league have made an incredible impact on so many.

Kevin, you are truly appreciated more than words can say. We are so grateful for everything you do, the countless hours you give, and the heart you put into Appleton Little League year after year.

We are so honored and proud of you, sir! ❤️💙

Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Kevin! We hope you enjoyed every moment of your special day! 👏⚾🥎

This one goes out to ALL of us — parents, players, coaches, volunteers, umpires, board members, grandparents, family members, and everyone who loves watching our kids play. ❤️⚾️🥎

We LOVE watching our kids compete. We cheer, we celebrate, we get excited, we want them to succeed, and sometimes… we get caught up in the moment and forget something really important:

It’s just a game. And they are just kids.

Let’s teach them to compete with heart.
Let’s teach them to win with humility.
Let’s teach them to lose with grace.
Let’s teach them to respect the game and the people who make it possible.
Let’s teach them to encourage instead of criticize.
Let’s teach them that character matters more than a scoreboard.

So let's make sure what we're teaching them is worth carrying with them long after the final inning, final whistle, or final pitch. ❤️

Let them play. Let them learn. Let them grow. And most importantly, let them be kids.
