This weekend, we will be a little more thankful when we step between the lines. ⚾️🇺🇸
Thankful that we get to play baseball, coach baseball, and watch our kids play the game they love.
Because sometimes we get so caught up in the scores, the wins and losses, the strikeouts, the errors, the tournaments and the next game… that we forget what a blessing it really is just to be there.
9/11 reminds us that life can change in an instant.
25 years later, we remember the thousands of lives that were lost, the families who were forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger when everyone else was running away.
So this weekend, enjoy the ballpark.
Enjoy the dugout.
Enjoy the long drives, the early mornings, the loud parents, the dirt, the laughs, the wins and even the losses.
Because getting to be there is a blessing.
We will never take for granted the opportunity to play this game, coach these kids, and watch them make memories they’ll carry for the rest of their lives.
And as we enjoy the freedoms we have, we remember those who gave everything so we could continue to enjoy them.
25 years later.
Never forget. 🇺🇸
Play the game. Love the game. Appreciate the game. ⚾️
