Saturday is the A-10's FIFTIETH BIRTHDAY! A seven-participant run from Severna Park to Annapolis on August 29th, 1976 quickly blossomed into one of the region's top road races, and five decades later we're still going strong. Decade number six begins on Sunday with the 51st Annual Annapolis Ten Mile Run!

A-10 weekend is here and the preparations have begun! From this point forward we'll all be super busy and won't have much time to look at messages & e-mails, so if you have any questions, you'll want to peruse RunSignup.com/A10 for answers and/or ask in person at Saturday's Expo. The expo is from 10 AM to 3 PM at the stadium, and don't forget you'll need photo ID to pick up your bib number! We'll also happily accept late registrations both at the expo and on Sunday morning. See you soon!

Participants, family, and friends are invited to follow all the race-day action with the A-10 Live Tracking App! On it you'll find real-time participant updates, current pace & estimated finish time, position along the course, live leaderboards, official results, and finisher badges. See the comments ⬇️ for the download link, and once installed, select the 2026 A-10. We're so excited to be able to offer this now!

Saturday is Annapolis Ten Mile Run Expo day! Come pick up your bib number at the expo and avoid the stress of race morning packet pick-up. We'll be at Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium from 10 AM to 3 PM-- the first couple hours of the expo are the busiest-- and in addition to packet pick-up and late registration, we have a lot of great vendors & exhibitors lined up! IMPORTANT REMINDER: You'll need to show your government-issued photo ID in order to pick up your number! If you are picking up someone else's number for them, you'll need a letter of permission from them AND a copy of their photo ID. (Bib swapping at the A-10 is strictly prohibited. There's no need for it anyway-- We are NOT sold out, and we are still accepting new registrations right up through race morning!)

As the weekend draws nearer, it's a good idea to get the lay of the land! Both our Saturday Expo and our Sunday Run take place at Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, and on both days drivers should enter the stadium lot via Cedar Park Road. On Sunday morning there WILL be backups, so please allow yourself extra time! The expo, packet pick-up, and our post-race festivities all take place on the north end of the stadium. It's gonna be fun!

The non-profit, all-volunteer Annapolis Striders running club is incredibly grateful to the local community for their support, patience, and understanding in allowing us to host the Annapolis Ten Mile Run every August! The 51st Annual A-10 is this Sunday, August 30th, from 7 to 9:30 AM, and there will be rolling road closures during the event as well as significant traffic coming to Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium starting before sunrise. A course map is included with this post, and road closure details can be found at https://runsignup.com/Race/Annapolis10MileRun/Page/road-closures on our RunSignup site. Many thanks to The City of Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, the state of Maryland, and the United States Naval Academy & Naval Support Activity Annapolis for their longtime support!

A unique feature of the Annapolis Ten Mile Run is our group of medical runners! These orange-vested professionals will be running the race alongside you this weekend, ready to assist if needed with first aid supplies and their medical training. So if you find yourself in need during Sunday's race, just look for the orange vests! 🧡 Huge thanks to these awesome volunteers for donating their time and expertise to our event!

We're psyched that groovadelic local band Rickshaw Lizard and Annapolis' own Forward Brewing will be back for our A-10 post-race festivities on Sunday! 🎸🎷🍺 What's more, we'll also have non-alcoholic beer available courtesy of Athletic Brewing Company! Somebody bring a Run Wild IPA over to the race announcers' table on Sunday morning, will ya? 🤣

Think you might need a little pacing help on August 30th? Look for our A-10 pacers! 🏃➡️ These fine folks will be carrying signs displaying their expected finish times in ten-minute increments, from 1 hour 10 minutes to 2 hours. So if your goal falls near one of these finish times, just look for your pace group's sign in the start corral and/or out on the course!
