Freshmen lost tonight 6-14 to New Bremen. Touchdown was scored by Devery Coverstone. Rockets fall to 0-1. Back in action next Tuesday 9/8 at home vs. St. Henry.

Grant Beckman: Tied for 3rd All-Time in Assisted Tackles. He is tied with Brandon Shannon, Brandon Axe, and Isaac Egbert. All-time leader is Hunter Schmidt with 16 vs. Covington (2020).

ANNA FOOTBALL ALL-TIME RECORDS UPDATE:

Friday night vs Fort Loramie we had a player move up in the career record book and a player enter the top 10 in the individual game record book.

Career Records:
Logan Ziegenbusch moved into 6th place all time in passing touchdowns with 27. He passed Travis Meyer (15-17) and now trails Kyle Muehlfeld with 31.
Logan also moved into a tie for 6th place all time in passing completions with 178, passing Jay Meyer (09-11). He is tied with Josh Robinson.
Lastly, Logan moved into 8th place all time in passing attempts with 294. He passed Carter Seigle (21-22) and now trails Jay Meyer with 310.

Tough loss last night as the Varsity falls 13-12 on a walk-off touchdown by Fort Loramie. Have to re-group and focus on the week ahead. Thank you for all the support last night. It was great to see the stands packed with green!

Then this morning, JV took their first W of the season by a score of 14-7! Touchdowns by Brady Noll and Sammy Howell. Great job, fellas!

Varsity: 1-1
JV: 1-0

Back at next week with opening of MAC play with Parkway.

It’s time to pack the stands, bring the energy, and get loud as our Rockets take Booster Field for the first time this season!
