Being the same person everywhere—from the boardroom to your kitchen table—is the essence of coherence. You can't lead a team, a family, or even yourself without knowing who you are. When pressure mounts, the mask cracks, and authenticity breaks through.
If your team can't predict your actions or understand who you are, they might trust your decisions, but not you. This lack of trust stops them from sharing vital information because they fear inconsistency.
Consider the cost of managing others' perceptions. Where does your body hold the performance? What authentic gifts are buried by the fear of not being received? Were decisions made for a mission or for a room? What has been walked away from, or walked into, simply because someone else said so?
We're told to be strong, resilient, and never give up. But what happens when that strength comes at a price? The foundation of your identity cracks under the weight of constant performance, leaving you depleted.

When people tell me they can’t start a business because they don’t know their purpose, I smile, because seeking purpose outside your own internal narrative is a trap.
This week’s podcast is your reminder to stop disappearing inside systems and old beliefs. Being a business owner means getting real familiar with how you lead under pressure, instead of hiding in excuses about the unknown.
Trying to build a stable life while hiding your true self drains your identity and weakens your power. This pressure will eventually lead to collapse, preventing the foundation you truly seek.
A Life Strategy is required. There comes a day of silence when you realize the true cost of living a life that isn't yours. It's a price paid, often a very expensive one, for a path not chosen.
The strategy table says, It's time to be honest. Put every mask down and ask yourself: what do I truly want? This week, find one person to share that vulnerability with. Notice their reaction, but more importantly, notice how you feel afterward.
It's not about age or social media, it's a constant background process. Your mind is always monitoring, calibrating, functioning at high capacity. .
The longer you wear the mask, the harder it becomes to answer one crucial question: Who are you when no one is watching? If you can't answer, it's time to check yourself. You might be avoiding the tax on your identity.
