Last week when we were in Walla Walla. I stopped at Jenson Hardwoods. Great selection of slaps and hardwood and some turning blanks.
I was able to get 5 blanks from a piece of maple from there and 2 other blank for under $100

Cherry burl hollow form finished with Odies oil. This piece looks great from any angle

I can see this being passed around the Thanksgiving dinner table with some warm rolls in it.

I made this grinder shell using a block of aluminum honeycomb and eye candy's neon pigments. Then turned on a lathe.
Will definitely be ordering more honeycomb.
