Mugging Prevention Stance πͺ
The best way to stay safe is to stay aware. Set the tone with a confident walk. Keep your head up, shoulders back, and look around. Continue being aware of your surroundings even in a place where visibility is reduced, like when you're at an ATM or a gas station pump.

Today is National Love is Kind Day π and we want to take a moment to celebrate every survivor who has taken a step toward freedom, healing, and a life filled with the love they deserve.
This day is a reminder that love should never hurt. It should feel safe, kind, and consistent.
You are worthy of a love that is kind.

No complicated moves. No intimidating drills. Just practical, confidence-building techniques that stick with you long after you leave the room.
Because every woman deserves to feel safe and to know she has what it takes to protect herself.

Some people come into your life and leave a lasting mark on your heart. Nancy Stewart was one of those people for me.
Nancy participated in my very first Women Against Crime class in 2001 and continued helping and supporting me through 2016. Through it all, we formed a friendship that lasted for many wonderful years.
Nancy held a special place in my heart and in the story of Women Against Crime. Her friendship, encouragement, and belief in me meant everything throughout the years. I will always be grateful for her support and the memories we shared.
Rest in peace, my dear friend. You will be deeply missed.

This is what Women Against Crime stands for.
FIERCE & CONFIDENT is the energy we bring to every training, every conversation, every woman who walks through our doors. It's the transformation that happens when you replace uncertainty with skills, fear with knowledge, and helplessness with power.
You don't have to choose between being kind and being strong. Between being feminine and being fierce. Between living fully and staying safe.
Stay Empowered. πͺ
