There’s no place my dad would rather I be today.

Happy Heavenly Father’s Day, Dad. ❤️

I hope I’m making you proud this weekend at the Dad’s Day Open at North Macomb Sportsman’s Club.

Every target, every station, every moment out here reminds me of the countless hours we spent together on the fields.

You taught me so much more than how to break targets—you taught me about faith, hard work, integrity, and never backing down from a challenge.

I miss you more than words can say, but I know you’re with me every step of the way.

This one’s for you, Dad. Love you always. ❤️

Today is one of the saddest days of my life as I’m finally publicly sharing the passing of my coach, my dad and my BEST friend.

After an AMAZING day with my dad out on the sporting clays fields, my dad, Ponch Wildman passed peacefully in his sleep into the arms of Jesus.

Tyler attends the University of Olivet and is on their clay shooting team. In addition to shooting for Olivet, 20 year-old, Tyler has many awards and accolades:

-3 time Junior World S***t Champions
-1 time Michigan State S***t Association Championship
-2026 NSSA Collegiate First Team
-2026 Michigan s***t Association first team team captain
-Representative on the Michigan S***t Association board

Welcome to Centerline Tyler!

Tru2Shooters athletes Tyler and Michael traveled to Indiana this weekend to compete at the 2026 Harry Michelson Memorial National S***t Shooting Association Event held at St. Joe Valley Conservation Club, and both put together an IMPRESSIVE showing on the national stage! 🔥

Tyler delivered a STANDOUT performance, earning Collegiate Champion honors in BOTH .410 and Doubles. He closed out the weekend with an OUTSTANDING 389/400, showing EXCEPTIONAL CONSISTENCY across all events! 💥

Michael also had a STRONG weekend, finishing with an AWESOME 387/400 and contributing to a consistently HIGH LEVEL of performance throughout the competition! 👏

Together, Tyler and Michael teamed up in the .410 2-Man event where they secured 2nd place, adding another STRONG finish to their weekend in Indiana! 🏆

A GREAT showing for both athletes and SOLID representation of Tru2Shooters and The University of Olivet Clay Target Team at a premier NSSA event!

This Memorial Day feels even more meaningful.

Over the past year, Tyler has had the opportunity to visit Washington, D.C. several times and walk through many of the memorials that honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our country. From standing before the towering monuments to reading the names etched in stone, each visit has been a powerful reminder that freedom is never free.

One especially impactful moment was an evening tour stop at the Korean War Veterans Memorial. Seeing the faces, the stories, and the sacrifice represented there brings a deeper appreciation for the courage of those who served and those who never made it home.

At Tru2Shooters, we believe in honoring tradition, responsibility, and the people who paved the way for the freedoms we enjoy today. This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice and the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.
