p🏔️ WE DID IT! 15 MANJAS ON THE ROOF OF AFRICA! 🇹🇿👑✨
(Signal update from the mountain! Catching you up on yesterday’s incredible midnight summit push!)

👑 Kosovo Camp ➡️ Uhuru Peak (5,895m / 19,341ft) ➡️ Mweka Camp
Around midnight under a freezing, star-filled sky, The Manjas switched on their headlamps, zipped up their heaviest down jackets, and stepped out from Kosovo Camp into the cold dark night.

For nearly 7 agonizing, freezing hours, the team pushed through the steep scree slopes in single file, taking every step Pole Pole through the extreme altitude.

🌅 Sunrise at Stella Point & Glory at Uhuru Peak!
As the first rays of golden light broke over the clouds, illuminating the Mawenzi Peak and the crater glaciers, 15 out of our 18 trekkers officially stepped onto Uhuru Peak—the highest point on the African continent! 🏆🎉

Tears were shed, warm hugs were shared, and our team representing the UK 🇬🇧, US 🇺🇸, and India 🇮🇳 proudly unfurled our flags at the iconic wooden summit sign!

❤️ 18 Strong in Spirit
While 15 reached the physical peak, all 18 Manjas are summit champions. The grit, determination, and mutual support shown by every single member of this team—from Day 1 at Lemosho Gate through every single challenge—is what truly defines us. We carried every teammate’s name and energy all the way to 5,895 meters! 💖

🥾 Heading Home Today!
After celebrating at the top and descending back down through Mweka Camp to rest their exhausted legs, The Manjas are making their final descent to Mweka Gate today! Warm showers, cold drinks, and certificate celebrations await back in town! 🍻🚿🏆

📡 MOUNTAIN UPDATE: DAY 6 – THE PRE-SUMMIT PUSH TO KOSOVO CAMP! ⛺️⚡️
This is it. The calm before the ultimate storm. The Manjas have arrived at Kosovo Camp, and in just a few short hours... we climb for the summit! 🏔️👑

🥾 Karanga Camp ➡️ Kosovo Camp (High Base Camp)
Elevation Reached: ~4,870m / 15,977ft 📈

Current Status: Resting, hydrating, and prepping gear for SUMMIT NIGHT! 🎒🔦

🌤️ The Push to High Camp
Today was a steep, steady trek through the bleak, otherworldly alpine desert. Instead of stopping with the crowds at Barafu Camp, The Manjas pushed an extra hour up the rocky ridge to Kosovo Camp!

Why Kosovo? Staying at this higher, quieter camp gives us a huge advantage: a peaceful spot to rest away from the main camp noise, and a head start that cuts nearly an hour off our grueling summit climb tonight! 🤫💪

The team from the UK 🇬🇧, US 🇺🇸, and India 🇮🇳 is feeling a mix of electric excitement, nervous butterflies, and fierce determination!

⏰ What Happens Tonight:
Early Rest: Hitting the sleeping bags early to catch as much sleep as possible in the thin high-altitude air.

Midnight Wake-Up: Waking up around midnight for hot tea, biscuits, and final layer checks.

The Final Ascent: Stepping out straight from Kosovo into the freezing night, headlamps glowing, to tackle the final push to Stella Point and Uhuru Peak (5,895m / 19,341ft)! ❄️🌕

❤️ Carrying the Whole Team
We are carrying the energy and strength of our entire group—including our amazing teammates who had to descend early—all the way to the Roof of Africa tonight.

📸 Check out the energy at High Camp:

Pushing past Barafu and making the final climb up to Kosovo!

Cozy tents set up on the high, rocky ridge with clouds below us.

Final gear layouts: headlamps, thermals, and heavy-duty layers.

Tonight, we dig deep. Send your strongest energy, prayers, and good vibes to The Manjas in the comments! Next update: FROM THE SUMMIT! 🏔️✨

Pole Pole... to the top! 🥾🔥

📡 MOUNTAIN UPDATE: DAY 5 – CONQUERING THE BARRANCO WALL! 🧗‍♂️🧱✨
Today brought huge thrills, massive achievements, and a strong reminder of how unpredictable mountain life can be for The Manjas.

🥾 Barranco Camp ➡️ Karanga Camp
Today's Highlight: The Infamous Barranco Wall! 🧱🧗

Current Elevation: 3,995m / 13,100ft 📈

❤️ A Morning Update: Sending Love to Our Teammate
This morning, before we began our climb, another of our incredible Manjas experienced a tough cough and trouble breathing. Following protocol and putting health first, our guides arranged for a safe helicopter descent so they could get properly checked out and rest.

🏥 They are off the mountain, safe, and being looked after. While it’s tough to part ways on the trail, the entire UK 🇬🇧, US 🇺🇸, and India 🇮🇳 crew is carrying their spirit with us every step of the way! Send them your warmest wishes below! ❤️👇

🧗 The Main Event: Scaling the Wall!
After sending our teammate off with big hugs, the rest of the team locked in to tackle the legendary Barranco Wall—a 257-meter (840ft) near-vertical scramble! 🧱

It required hands, feet, focus, and plenty of heart, but The Manjas ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED IT! 💥

Highlight Moment: Hugging the famous "Kissing Rock" on the narrow ledge! 💋🪨

The Reward: Reaching the top of the wall to breathtaking views above the cloud line, followed by a triumphant trek into Karanga Camp.

📸 Swipe through today's epic shots:

📡 MOUNTAIN UPDATE: LOOKING BACK AT DAY 4 🌋🧗‍♂️
(Still catching up on mountain signal! This update is from yesterday’s tough trek on the Lemosho Route!)

🥾 Moir Hut ➡️ Lava Tower (4,630m) ➡️ Barranco Camp (3,960m)
Yesterday was a classic "climb high, sleep low" acclimatization day for The Manjas. The team pushed hard through high altitude up to the towering Lava Tower at 4,630 meters before descending into the scenic Barranco Valley.

❤️ A Quick Health Update: Team First, Always
The mountain always reminds us to respect its power. Yesterday, around 4,300 meters, one of our brave Manjas began showing signs of altitude sickness. Following strict safety protocols, our guides took immediate action to safely assist them back down the mountain.

🏥 The Great News: They were checked out thoroughly at the hospital, received a clean bill of health, and are currently relaxing back at the hotel doing great! While we miss having them on the trail with us, health and safety are—and will always be—our top priority. Send them some love in the comments! ❤️👇

Yesterday’s Trail Highlights:
Conquering Lava Tower: Reaching 4,630m (15,190ft) gave the team a real taste of high-altitude conditions.

The Barranco Wall Tease: Catching our first close-up look at the legendary Barranco Wall, which set the stage for our next big challenge! 🧗

Unbreakable Bond: The UK 🇬🇧, US 🇺🇸, and India 🇮🇳 crew showed incredible support for each other all day long—true teamwork in action.

📸 Swipe through yesterday’s photos:

Mountains teach us resilience, unity, and care for one another. The Manjas are staying strong, keeping the spirits high, and taking it one step at a time! ⛰️✨

After a long, rewarding day of trekking across the expansive high-altitude desert, The Manjas pulled into Moir Hut right around 5:40 PM—just in time as the cool evening mountain air began to settle in! 🥶✨

Highlights from the Trail:
Off the Beaten Path: Moir Hut is a hidden gem tucked away under the massive Lent Hills. It felt incredibly quiet, peaceful, and remote—a true high-alpine wilderness experience! 🏔️

Crucial Acclimatization: Pushing past 4,000 meters for the first time was a major milestone for our team from the UK 🇬🇧, US 🇺🇸, and India 🇮🇳.
