Aujourd’hui, nous plongeons dans les archives de la Cour africaine des droits de l’homme et des peuples pour revenir sur des moments mémorables des sessions judiciaires de la Cour africaine entre 2022 et 2026.

Ces sessions ont réuni des juges, des experts juridiques, des universitaires, des dirigeants et des parties prenantes de toute l’Afrique afin d’échanger des idées, de renforcer l’administration de la justice et de faire progresser la protection des droits de l’homme et des peuples.

Chaque session, chaque dialogue et chaque délibération contribuent à renforcer la culture de la justice, de la responsabilité et du respect des droits de l’homme à travers le continent.

Today, we step back into the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights archives and revisit memorable moments from the African Court's Judicial Sessions between 2022 and 2026.

These sessions brought together judges, legal experts, academics, leaders and stakeholders from across Africa to exchange ideas, strengthen the administration of justice, and advance the protection of human and peoples' rights.

Tomorrow, 5 June 2026, the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights will deliver four (4) judgments adopted during its 80th Ordinary Session at its Seat in Arusha, Tanzania.

The proceedings will commence at 10:00 a.m. EAT and will be streamed live on the Court’s digital platforms.

Members of the public are invited to follow the delivery of judgments either in person in Arusha or virtually through the following platforms:

The African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights has officially opened its 81st Ordinary Session, which will run from 1–26 June 2026 at the Court’s Seat in Arusha, Tanzania.

Over the coming weeks, the Court will consider a number of cases and judicial matters before it.

The Court will also continue activities marking its 20th Anniversary under the year-long commemoration.

On 5 June 2026, the Court will deliver four judgments adopted during its 80th Ordinary Session.
