Music has a wonderful way of bringing back memories. 🎶
In June, our clients enjoyed a special visit from Ms. Catherine Williams, drummer, calypsonian, and performer, who treated everyone to an afternoon of storytelling through music.
Alongside our Activities Facilitator, Camille Nottingham, Ms. Williams took clients on a journey through the music of some of our great calypsonians.
She also invited everyone to try their hand at drumming, and a few of our clients surprised us by showing off some hidden musical talent!
Thank you, Ms. Williams, for sharing your time, talent, and love of music with us. 💛

A trip down memory lane can be a wonderful thing.
Take a look back at to our May visit to the National Library Archives where clients explored historical records, photographs, and exhibits that sparked conversations, memories, and plenty of interest along the way.
Outings like these provide opportunities to learn, connect, and see familiar stories from a different perspective.
Thank you to NALIS TT and everyone who helped make the visit such an enjoyable experience. 📚💚

💚 Thank you for helping us extend care beyond our Centre and into our wider community.
Some visitors leave a lasting impression, and Errol & Jilean Fabien certainly did just that.
Through humour, storytelling, and heartfelt life lessons, they created an afternoon that had us laughing, reminiscing, reflecting, and smiling throughout.
Thank you both for sharing your gifts so generously and for reminding us of the power of laughter, a good story, and genuine human connection. 💛
Music has a special way of bringing people together, and that was certainly the case when students from the UTT Academy for the Performing Arts Community Recitals programme visited the Centre on May 4th.
Led by Associate Professor Caitlyn Kamminga, the students treated our clients to a beautiful presentation of music, storytelling, and instrumental performances that captured everyone’s attention.
We extend our sincere thanks to Caitlyn and her students for sharing their talents and creating such an enjoyable experience 🎶
