The Powerlifting competition at the National Games was more than just lifting weights β€” it was a showcase of confidence, discipline, perseverance, and pride from our incredible athletes at Special Olympics Trinidad and Tobago. πŸ”₯

Every attempt on the platform represented hours of training, commitment, and belief in themselves. From first-time competitors to seasoned lifters, our athletes showed true strength in every sense of the word. πŸ™Œβœ¨

These are the moments that remind us why sport matters β€” because it creates opportunities for athletes to grow, shine, and inspire everyone watching. πŸ’™

πŸ’™ Happy Father's Day from Special Olympics Trinidad and Tobago! πŸ’™

Today, we celebrate all the incredible fathers, father figures, grandfathers, uncles, coaches, administrators and mentors who make a lasting difference in the lives of our athletes.

Whether you're cheering from the sidelines, offering words of encouragement, providing guidance, helping athletes reach their goals, or simply showing up day after day with love and support, your impact cannot be measured.

You are role models, advocates, teachers and champions. You help build confidence, foster independence, encourage perseverance and remind our athletes that they are capable of achieving great things.

At SOTT, we know that success is never achieved alone. Behind every athlete is a community of people who believe in them, and so many of those people are the fathers and father figures who continue to inspire through their dedication, patience and unwavering support.

Today, we thank you for every early morning, every practice session, every word of encouragement and every sacrifice made along the way. Your love and commitment help create opportunities for our athletes to learn, grow, compete and shine. βœ¨πŸ…

To all the amazing dads and father figures in our SOTT family, we celebrate you today and every day.

Happy Father's Day! πŸ’™πŸ‘”
