: แฟลกฟุตบอลชายทีมชาติไทย ผงาดท็อป 5 โลก หลังคว้าแชมป์ทวีปเอเชีย-โอเชียเนีย เมื่อปีกลาย

ถือเป็นกีฬาที่น่าจับตามองอีกหนึ่งชนิดในประเทศไทย สำหรับกีฬา “แฟลกฟุตบอล” เพราะหลังจากที่มีการประกาศเวิลด์แรงกิ้งครั้งล่าสุด แฟลกฟุตบอลชายทีมชาติไทย ของเรา ถูกจัดอยู่ในกลุ่มท็อป 5 ของโลก

ย้อนกลับไปเมื่อช่วงปลายปี 2023 แฟลกฟุตบอลชายทีมชาติไทย สามารถคว้าแชมป์ทวีปเอเชีย-โอเชียเนีย ด้วยการเอาชนะ นิวซีแลนด์ ในรอบชิงชนะเลิศ ด้วยสกอร์ 31-25 ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ประเทศมาเลเซีย

ส่งผลให้ในการจัดอันอับครั้งล่าสุด จาก IFAF หรือ The International Federation of American Football แฟลกฟุตบอลชายทีมชาติไทย ของเรารั้งอยู่อันดับดับที่ 5 ของโลก ด้วยการมี 3,300 คะแนน

โดยท็อป 5 ของโลกในกีฬาแฟลกฟุตบอลชาย ตอนนี้ ประกอบด้วย
1.สหรัฐอเมริกา 4,893 คะแนน
2.เม็กซิโก 3,964 คะแนน
3.เยอรมนี 3,743 คะแนน
4.ออสเตรีย 3,600 คะแนน
5.ไทย 3,300 คะแนน

สำหรับกีฬาแฟลกฟุตบอล จะถูกบรรจุในกีฬาโอลิมปิก 2028 ที่สหรัฐอเมริกา โดยหากประเทศไทยมีอันดับโลกที่ดีมีโอกาสที่จะควอลิฟาย ไปแข่งในโอลิมปิกเกม ลอสแอนเจลิส 2028 อีกสี่ปีข้างหน้าเช่นกัน
