Everyone is warmly invited to come and witness the historic final event of the LCIPT First Edition 2026 in Juba.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early at Buluk Playground, secure their seats, and enter before 3:00 PM with an affordable entry fee.

LEER FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION (LFA)OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

This is to inform the general public and the sporting community of Leer County that, after careful consideration, the LFA Management Committee has decided to withdraw the participation of the Leer County Central Team from the 9th July Independence Day Celebration Cup.

This decision follows our recent communication regarding tomorrow's knockout match Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with the organization and procedures of the tournament.

The competition was presented as a fully funded Independence Day Celebration Cup
However, we later discovered that the promised support was not available, there were no funds, no team jerseys, no playing boots, no lunch arrangements, and no transport for the participating team

Had this information been communicated earlier, we would have made our own preparations and ensured that all the necessary requirements were in place, As things stand, the Leer County Central Team is not adequately prepared to participate in the tournament.

Therefore, the LFA Management Committee officially announces the withdrawal of the Leer County Central Team from the 9th July Independence Day Celebration Cup.

Despite this development, all players and supporters are invited to attend our Team B friendly match against Wulang FA of Aweil East, which will take place tomorrow at Medan Simba at 3:45 PM.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause and thank you for your understanding and continued support.

ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with profound sorrow and deep respect that we inform the people of South Sudan, Unity State, and the Dok Community in particular that the funeral prayer for our late leader, father, and son, Late Gen. Peter Keah Jal Madeng Kier who has left us on Friday 26 June 2026, will be conducted on Saturday, 04[unclear:"] July 2026 in his honor and remembrance.

The prayer services will be held simultaneously at the following locations:
