💔 Tragic news from Uganda: SC Villa captain David Owori has sadly passed away after reportedly being attacked by unidentified assailants while returning home on Tuesday night.

The defender succumbed to his injuries in hospital on Wednesday despite the best efforts of medical staff, according to reports.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, teammates, and the entire Ugandan football community. 🕊️

It is with profound sorrow that we receive the news of our Coach Johnny's passing on.
This news comes at a very critical time that Juba Central FC Management had all the trust in him to guide the team to the next level.
Moving forward, we all grieve together as family. Losing a family member is felt deeply in our hearts, God Almighty will see us through this trying moment.
First it was the grandmother of our Coach Mansuk, now Coach Johnny is no more again.
Let us remain strong for all of them, we know that he will always be with us at all times.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
