The future of tchoukball is exceptionally bright!

From nail-biting finishes to extraordinary displays of teamwork, the future of tchoukball was on absolute display at the recent Asia Pacific Youth Tchoukball Championship (APYTC)!

A massive congratulations to all our young athletes who left everything on the court. Team Singapore's incredible 8-medal haul- featuring historic golds across the U19 and U23 categories and podium finishes in every single age group-is a powerful testament to the grit, resilience, and heart of our rising generation.

Beyond the medals, what truly stood out was the unbreakable spirit of these emerging talents. Facing high-pressure moments and fierce international competition, these youth players showed remarkable maturity, composure, and sportsmanship.

They aren't just learning how to play the game; they are proving that they are ready to lead the future of the sport. The pathway forward is glowing, and this is only the beginning!

On Sat 16 May 26, in collaboration with ThrillBlazors, the CSN organised the Ultimate Youth Tchoukball Tournament 2026 at St Patrick's School. With 15 youth teams taking part, it was an exciting Tournament from start to end.

We were very privileged to have Tchoukball Association of Singapore President, Mr Jin Long, presenting the prizes to the worthy winners. The CSN was also very honoured to receive a special note of encouragement from FITB President, Mr Delane Lim who was overseas for a Tchoukball conference, but yet made time to pen a message, as follows:

"Good evening Tchoukball enthusiasts! It's my pleasure to share a few words, kindly delivered on my behalf by Chairman, Joo Chiat CSN.

Together with ThrillBlazors, the Joo Chiat CSN have always been very supportive towards Tchoukball and community sporting initiatives.

The Tchoukball Association of Singapore is truly grateful for their encouragement, partnership and continued belief in using sport as a platform to bring people together.

Tchoukball is more than just a sport. It is about friendship, teamwork, resilience and creating opportunities for youths and residents to stay active and connected with the community.

Tchoukball Singapore will continue to support community tchoukball initiatives like this and work closely with partners to make the East Side the best place for community sports such as Tchoukball.

In fact, on 18 June 2026, we will be holding our Tchoukball Celebration at Siglap South CC, where we will also be announcing more community partnerships and initiatives to further grow the sport and strengthen community engagement.

In closing, I congratulate Joo Chiat CSN and ThrillBlazors for your hard work and for the successful collaboration. Finally, to all our youths, keep training hard, enjoy all your games and above all, be good ambassadors of the game we all love. Keep it up!"

We humbly thank Mr Lim, Mr Jin Long and all participants for making the Ultimate Youth Tchoukball Tournament a success!

Refreshing the categories! More opportunities for the youth especially!

The FITB will be seeking approval from our Members to change our youth competitions this year! Our continents can retain the Under-13 level for their own grassroots development, and we will introduce competitions at Under-16, Under-19 and a brand new Under-23 level.

We will give our young athletes a reason to keep playing from 19 to 23 as they continue their journey to participation at the highest levels 🤾🏻‍♂️🤾🏿‍♀️💪🏻

We will invite nations to bid for next year's World Youth Championships soon with these categories in mind 👀

Save the Dates! 30 June - 4 July 2027!

The FITB is delighted to confirm that the World Tchoukball Championships 2027 will be held in Singapore. We've signed a "In Principle" letter with the Tchoukball Association of Singapore. We'll work with the TBAS over the coming months to confirm the details.
