SIM Weiqi club is a place where people can get together for casual or competitive play.
Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) Weiqi Club was established in the year 2013. The club conduct basic and advance lessons for all type of players, as well as attending various competition. We also participated in a camp organised by Singapore Weiqi Association (SWA) Youth Connection, Synergy Camp. A late update, but this month SIM Weiqi won 2nd place for the NUS Intervarsity Mind Sports Championships 2022 (Weiqi) 🏆🥈!!!
There were 5 tertiary institutes (SIM, NP, NTU, NUS, SP) and 10 teams altogether that participated in this battle royale!
Our team consisted of Alvin 4 Dan who scored 5/5, Sherwin 2 Dan who scored 4/5 and Eugene 1 Dan who scored 4/5!
Team SIM-A had actually scored the same number of games won as the first place winner; however, if there is tie in individual wins than the number of rounds (team vs team) determined the champion, nevertheless we thank our players for their efforts!
