More than a decade of teaching swimming. Teaching children swimming has touched my life immensely.
MoovSwim makes swimming fun for babies, toddlers and children through songs and games. Hi there!
I’m Yong, and I am an AUSTSWIM teacher of swimming and water safety, infant swimming and children swimming, competitive strokes, and teacher of aquatics (access and inclusion – disability). My students range from babies as young as 6 months old who are just beginning to explore the water world, to adults who want to learn swimming or improve their swimming strokes.

Such a delight to watch 3 year old R having so much fun kicking to her mum! This is great progress for little R who did not enjoy swimming lessons previously.
MoovSwim believes in learning through play and engaging children with fun activities and games. Within a short period of time, R is thoroughly enjoying herself during swim class and progressing so well! Thank you R’s Papa for sending us this snippet of how much R is having so much fun swimming now ☺️

MoovSwim believes all children can swim. MoovSwim uses songs, aquatic activities to stimulate learning in aquatic skills for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Commentary: Here’s why parents should invest in infant swimming lessons It is important that we prioritise infant swimming lessons as a life skill and resource for children from a young age, says Jan Lin Lee.
Practising kicking as a quick warm up before the lesson starts!
Coach Yong uses a mat to help Sarah observe how her kicking enables the mat to move away. This provides feedback that she is kicking with enough strength ✌🏻
Using the pool noodle as a fishing rod creates fun in fishing the mat back to position, thereby repeating the kicking exercise again 🎣
At MoovSwim, we create simple exercises to be fun - with a dash of creativity and a pinch of sunshine ☀
