❤️‍🩹 Actress Katherine LaNasa, who plays Nurse Dana Evans on the medical drama ‘The Pitt’, recently shared how surviving breast cancer changed the way she understands what patients experience.

✨ Her own cancer journey gave her a deeper understanding of the fear, vulnerability, and uncertainty that patients can feel and helped her bring that perspective to her role as a nurse.
Sometimes, going through something ourselves changes the way we see and care for others.

👉 Have you ever had an experience that changed the way you understood what someone else was going through?

🎀 Elizabeth Hurley recently shared a powerful reminder about why breast cancer awareness matters.

About 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. Whether it’s a family member, a friend, a colleague, or ourselves, almost everyone knows someone whose life has been touched by this disease.

💗 As Elizabeth Hurley reminds us, this is something we all need to stand behind.

Raising awareness, encouraging early detection, supporting those affected, and advancing research are all ways we can help create a future with better outcomes and, one day, a cure.

✨ Together, we are stronger.

Tag someone who inspires you with their strength or commitment to raising breast cancer awareness.

After cancer, every step carries a different meaning. Strength, gratitude, and simply being able to move become things you never take for granted.

Her journey honors everyone living with and beyond cancer, and the people and charities who support them every day.

💔Sometimes, one of the hardest parts of cancer is deciding who to tell.

Not because you’re ashamed.
Not because you’re in denial.

But because you don’t want everything to change.

You don’t want people to look at you differently.
You don’t want every conversation to revolve around cancer.
You don’t want to see pity in someone’s eyes or feel their fear reflected back at you.

Sometimes, you just want to be treated like yourself.

✨ Cancer may become part of your story, but it doesn’t become your entire identity.

And it’s okay to protect your peace while you decide who gets access to that part of your journey.

Whatever you choose, your feelings are valid.

👇 Can you relate to wanting to keep your diagnosis private?

👉 IMPORTANT REMINDER from the ESMO Breast Cancer Conference

There’s growing clarity on the link between alcohol and breast cancer risk. One key takeaway? There is no “safe” amount—even small amounts of alcohol can raise your risk. And the more you drink, the higher that risk climbs.

This risk is especially significant for pre-menopausal women. If you still have your menstrual cycle, alcohol may have an even greater impact on your long-term breast health.

🌸 No shame, no fear—just awareness. When we know better, we can make more informed choices for our health and future.

👉As a Cancer Coach and Breast Cancer Survivor, I limit or avoid these 5 foods/drinks❌1. Sodas (regular and diet): high in sugar and/or high in artificial ingredients.❌2. Processed Meats: deli meats and cold cuts undergo processes like salting, curing, and smoking. These meats are classified as carcinogens by the World Health Organization (WHO), meaning there’s strong evidence that they can cause certain cancers.❌3. Ultra-Processed Foods: These foods typically include a high amount of additives that can have various negative effects on your health. They are often high in unhealthy fats, sugars, and sodium.❌4. Deep Fried Foods: Deep frying involves cooking food in a large amount of fat or oil at a high temperature. This process can create harmful compounds like trans fats and acrylamide, which have been linked to chronic diseases like heart disease and cancer.❌5. Alcohol: Alcohol has been classified as a carcinogen by the WHO since 1988. Importantly, the WHO has recently stated: “When it comes to alcohol consumption, there is no safe amount that does not affect health”.Your health is your wealth, let’s invest wisely!
