Your insurance policy document looks intimidating. Let's fix that. 📋
Here's what to look for when you read it:
📌 PAGE 1 - Policy details: Your name, coverage start date, premium amount
📌 COVERAGE SECTION - What is actually covered (read carefully!)
📌 EXCLUSIONS - What is NOT covered (READ THIS MOST CAREFULLY)
📌 BENEFICIARY PAGE - Who receives the benefit? Is it up to date?
📌 CLAIMS SECTION - How and when to file a claim
📌 FREE LOOK PERIOD - Usually 15–30 days to cancel for a full refund if you change your mind
Most people never read their policy until they need to claim. Don't be that person.
30 minutes with your document now = zero surprises when it matters most.
💬 Have you actually read your full insurance policy? Be honest 😅

We asked people who are already insured: "What do you wish you knew BEFORE signing up?"
Here's what they said 👇
💬 "Read the exclusions. Seriously. Read them."
💬 "I wish I started at 25, not 35. My premiums would be half."
💬 "Make sure your beneficiary actually knows where to find the documents."
💬 "Don't just trust your agent - ask questions, do your own research."
💬 "I wish someone had explained VUL to me before I committed to it."
💬 "Term life is underrated. It's simple and it works."
Real talk from real people. No sugar-coating.
We're sharing this so YOU can go in more prepared than they did.
💬 If you're already insured, what would you add to this list?

"I have savings, why do I need insurance?"
We love that you're saving! But here's the honest truth 👇
💰 Savings CAN run out:
→ A single major illness can cost ₱500K–₱2M+
→ Most savings are wiped out in 3–6 months of serious illness
→ Once your savings are gone, they're gone
🛡️ Insurance DOESN'T run out (within your coverage):
→ Your ₱1M sum assured stays intact regardless of other expenses
→ Pays out what it promises , not what's left over
→ Protects savings FROM being drained
The smart move? BOTH.
Savings for everyday emergencies. Insurance for catastrophic ones.
They're not alternatives. They work together.

Life happens. Payments get missed. Here's what you need to know 👇
What happens when you miss an insurance premium payment:
📌 Most policies have a GRACE PERIOD of 30–60 days - your coverage continues during this time
📌 If you don't pay within the grace period, the policy may LAPSE (become inactive)
📌 A lapsed policy can sometimes be REINSTATED - but you may need to re-qualify medically
📌 For VUL policies, your investment component may be used to cover premiums temporarily
What to do if you're struggling to pay:
✅ Contact your insurer immediately - don't ignore it
✅ Ask about premium holidays or restructuring options
✅ Consider downgrading your coverage temporarily
Missing one payment ≠ losing everything. But acting quickly matters.

Let's talk about VUL, one of the most popular (and most misunderstood) insurance products. 📊
What is a VUL (Variable Unit-Linked Policy)?
It's a life insurance policy that combines:
🛡️ PROTECTION — life insurance coverage for you and your family
📈 INVESTMENT — part of your premium is invested in funds
Why people like it:
✅ Two benefits in one product
✅ Potential for your money to grow over time
✅ Flexible premium payments in some plans
What to know before signing up:
⚠️ Investment returns are NOT guaranteed - they depend on market performance
⚠️ Higher premiums than pure term insurance
⚠️ Best suited for long-term (10+ year) commitment
VUL is NOT for everyone. But for the right person, it can be a powerful financial tool.

If insurance was a PERSON, they'd be like that one friend who:
🦸 Always shows up when things go wrong
🤐 Doesn't make a big deal out of it
💸 Handles the expensive stuff so you don't have to
📋 Remembers everything you agreed to (read: the policy 😅)
🛡️ Has your back even when you forget they exist
You know you need that friend in your life. 😂
Insurance is literally that - a financial best friend for the moments you hope never come.
