NTU Aikido Club

Thank you everyone for coming to our tryouts and letting us share our aikido with you! If you want to join us and continue doing aikido with us, do sign up through the link in our bio!

Our trainings are every Monday (8.15pm - 10pm) and Wednesday (6 - 8pm) at The Wave in AR 2.

We would also like to thank our senseis, Wilson and Nicole, for leading the tryout classes and introducing the new students to our martial art! We hope you learnt a lot and enjoyed your experience with us! See you again!!

On the weekend of 11th and 12th July, Mumei Shudan Dojo organised an ukemi workshop for our university students, led by Hamzah Sensei!

The sessions began with the fundamentals, focusing on smooth and safe mae ukemi (forward rolls) and ushiro yoko ukemi (rear side falls). As everyone gained confidence, we progressed to more dynamic techniques, including high falls and the front feather fall ukemi 🍃

To wrap up the workshop, we explored and applied the principle of maintaining connection between uke and tori, which gave the students an opportunity to practise their ushiro yoko ukemi too! 🥋

A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the workshop such a fun and rewarding experience!😋
