Learn to lead climb 🧗‍♀️

A first-lead workshop for youth climbers aged 11–16 who are ready to move beyond top-rope or auto-belay.

With Coach Dee, climbers will practise tying in, clipping, rope management, movement and lead-fall fundamentals in a small, supportive group.

Please note: this workshop covers lead climbing only. It does not cover lead belaying or SNCS Level 2 certification.

No previous lead experience or SNCS certificate required. Climbers should be comfortable on the 6a+ highwall.

Speed wall update at BFF Climb @ OTH 👀

We’ve reset part of our speed wall to the Asian Youth Speed Route, so climbers who want exposure to this route now have a place to practise it.

The original route is 15m, while our OTH wall is 10m, so we’ve split it across two lanes:

🔴 Left lane: bottom ⅔ of the route
🔴 Right lane: top ⅔ of the route
🟨 Important: for the right lane, finish at the yellow box, not the buzzer

We’ve also put up the blue ladder route in the middle lane for Speedsters to practise ladder movement, rhythm and speed.

This route is commonly used for Youth C and D climbers in Asian youth competition settings, and may also be useful for younger climbers who want early exposure to this style of movement.

It’s now up at BFF Climb @ Our Tampines Hub.

BFF Verticrux Highwall Edition 2026 is supported by the Singapore Sport Climbing and Mountaineering Federation, . 🧗‍♀️

Competition results will count towards athlete rankings.

This is a proper high-wall competition for young climbers aged 7–10, whether they already compete regularly or are ready to take on their first competition.

Climbers will face:

2 auto-belay qualification routes
Top 8 finalists in each category
1 top-rope final route
